Amelia Residents in Action for the Symphony awards grants to Nassau County schools.
Local music educators who submitted grant applications to the Nassau Education Foundation received financial awards that will enhance their programs, with funding contributed by ARIAS. Winning programs will use their grants in various ways, from equipment to instruments to expert coaching for music students. “A critical part of the ARIAS mission is to support music education in our communities. These grants were awarded after compelling applications from our Nassau County music educators,” said Sheri Van Orden, ARIAS president.
